We designed this hike for the travelers who want to taste the flavor of hike in their luxury travel. A day hike to Dhampus from Pokhara takes you to the naturally and culturally rich Dhampus village. Dhampus village lies at an altitude of 1,650 meters from sea level. Dhampus village is mainly the home of Gurung community so while hiking this village you will observe the typical gurung lifestyle. It is not only the home for gurung ethnic people but also other ethnic groups. Naturally Dhampus at an altitude of 1,650 meters from sea level is lush green village where the rhododendron forest can be found and from here the majestic peaks of Annapurna range can easily be seen.

What to expect

We will drive to Kande from pokhara and start our Hiking. Then from Kande we slowly hike towards Australian camp which is at an altitude of 2,100 meter above from sea level. This altitude is perfect for the beginner hiker and children hiker.

From Australian camp we can see stunning Annapurna south, Hiuchuli, Lamjung Himal, Fishtail, Mardi Himal, Annapurna III and many panoramic peaks. Also Australian Camp is our Highest point.

From Australian camp we will start to descend down towards the Dhampus village, where we will be having our lunch and after lunch we will be further moving down towards Phedi.
We will drive back to Pokhara from Phedi.
