Mohare Hill trek is a 10 days cultural eco trek to the Mohare hill of Annapurna Region. Mohare Hill is also popular by the name Mohare Danda where “Danda” is the translation of Hill in the Nepali language. Meanwhile, the altitude of Mohare Danda is 3,300 meters above sea level. Mohare Danda lies in the Myagdi district of Nepal on the periphery of the Annapurna Conservation Area. We are offering 10 days itinerary of Mohare Hill Trek where you will be exploring one of the best hill stations which are often compared with Poon Hill.
Mohare Hill trek is an ideal choice for the trekkers willing to travel in the less crowded areas with an awesome view of the mountain ranges. Besides that Mohare hill trek is an awesome opportunity to view some of the high mountain ranges including Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. Situated about 3 km away from Poon Hill, The difficulty level of Mohare Hill trek is moderate.

1Kathmandu
Your Arrival Time (?) Our office representative will meet and greet you at Kathmandu airport and transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. At 06:00 PM: In the evening we will meet for a coffee and will brief you the details of your trek program. *Optionally you can add one additional night stay in Kathmandu to cover cultural sightseeing in Kathmandu as well for your trek preparation shopping.

2Pokhara
At 06:30 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel and be ready for your drive to beautiful lake city Pokhara. Pokhara is about 200 KM far from Kathmandu, it takes Approx. 6-7 hours of drive to reach there. 03:00 PM: First check-in at your hotel. You will get a few hours to buy your required things for the trek if needed. If not, you can explore the lakeside area and take rest. You will keep your extra baggage at the hotel in Pokhara.

At 07:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the Pokhara hotel and be ready for our first-day adventure of the trek. We will start with the drive towards Galeshowr village in Myagdi district west of Nepal. The drive takes around 4 hours and from there we will start our trek towards Bas Kharka.

At 08:00 AM: We will start our second-day trek adventure in style. Today’s trek is mostly through the village and jungle which offers a great view of stunning mountain and breathtaking landscape. With trekking towards uphill through Magar village, we will visit Organic farm run by the Magar community too promote eco-tourism.

At 08:00 AM: After breakfast on our third day of the trek, we will be moving towards Mohare danda. The trail to Mohare danda mostly passes through beautiful Oak forest and Rhododendron forest. The great views of mountains like Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Nilgiri, Annapurna south, Hiuchuli, Tukuche peak don’t leave us throughout the trail. We will be having the amazing sunset view in the evening.

At 05:00 AM: We will wake up early in the morning for the sunrise view over the Annapurna Himalayas. The peaks visible from here are more than 10 and Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna south, Hiuchuli, Machhapuchhre, Tukuche peak being the closest one. At 8:00 AM: We will have our delicious mountain breakfast and start trekking towards Deurali. Throughout the trail the views of landscape, mountains and forests are amazing. Finally crossing the up and down trails we will cross Ghorepani t reach the Deurali.

7Ghandruk
At 8:00 AM: Today is the last day of our trek and we will be descending more down towards the Gurung village Ghandruk. From Ghandruk we can see the amazing views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre and Hiuchuli. The village lies at the cliff of the hill. Here you can see the local cultivation, farmlands, Gurung tradition and nice landscapes.

8Pokhara
At 8:00 AM: Today we will be going to Pokhara after our successful trek to Mohare hill. You can have your post-trek good time at the lakeside or you can take the sightseeing tour around Pokhara

9Kathmandu
At 08:00 AM: On this day you are returning to Kathmandu by drive. You will get shopping time in Kathmandu and we will have a farewell Nepali dinner together.
