Khopra Mohare and Poon Hill trek is the combination of three beautiful trek destinations around the south face of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayas. This trek is specially designed to visit all the short treks around these areas. The difficulty level of this trek is moderate and any beginners with normal physical fitness level can complete this trek easily. All of these three destinations of the trek is done one by one by the trekkers. Because of that, it takes a lot of duration and cost while visiting the same route again and again.

Because of that, we are offering this beautiful trekking package specially designed to trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. With our trek packages, one can visit all of these popular trekking trails of Nepal at once. During this trek Annapurna ranges, Machhapuchre, Lamjung Himla, Dhampus, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Hiuchuli, Lamjung Himal and many more mountain ranges can be seen.

    Pashupatinath Temple

    Pashupatinath temple is a highly revered temple of Kathmandu valley. There are a lot of places to see around Pashupatinath temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple offers wonderful spiritual experiences and surroundings. It is situated 3 km northwest of Kathmandu on the banks of the Bagmati River, including many holy areas Deupatan, Jaya Bageshwori, Gaurighat (Holy Bath), Kutumbahal, Gaushala, Pingalasthan and Sleshmantak forest. There are around 492 temples, 15 Shivalayas (shrines of Lord Shiva) and 12 Jyotirlinga (phallic shrines) to explore. It is also a cremation site on the raised platform along the Bagmati River, where the last rites of Hindus are performed. The total time for Sightseeing around the Pashupatinath temple will be about two hours.

    Boudhanath Stupa

    The Stupa is belonged to Buddhists. It has great architectural values, ancient Buddhism philosophy and the Historical aspects. This Stupa is made up in a Mandala shaped area and has a giant dome. It is the center hub of Buddhism in Nepal and is surrounded by hundreds of monasteries. Lichchavi rulers renovated the staple during 8th century, which has made on the shape of a Mandala. This is one of the most popular holy sites for Buddhist followers inside the Kathmandu valley. It is one of the important artefacts of Kathmandu valley. The total time spent at this temple will be around one and a half hours.

    Swaymbhunath

    The Swayambhunath temple is one of the holiest Buddhist Chaityas in Nepal, residing in the western part of Kathmandu valley. Swayambhunath also is known as ‘Monkey Temple’. This is the best place to see the entire city, as it is located in the top of the hill. Buddhists and Hindus both perform and worship here. There are a lot of small temples and monasteries to see around Swayambhunath temple. The wonderful views from the Swayambhunath temple are wonderful and it has huge significance as well.

    Patan Durbar Square is a historical Durbar Square with lots of wonderful places around the premises. Newari architecture and monuments are the best attraction of this ancient place. Situated at the centre of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of its attractions is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided.

    Drive to Pokhara

    At 06:30 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel and be ready for your drive to beautiful lake city Pokhara. Pokhara is about 200 KM far from Kathmandu, it takes Approx. 6-7 hours of drive to reach there. 03:00 PM: First check-in at your hotel. You will get a few hours to buy your required things for the trek if needed. If not, you can explore the lakeside area and take rest. You will keep your extra baggage at the hotel in Pokhara.

    Drive to Ghandruk, Hike to Tadapani

    At 06:30 AM: After breakfast at the beautiful lake city, our jeep will take us to the beautiful Gurung village Ghandruk. Our trek starts from here. Keeping the Annapurna south in front of us we will trek towards Tadapani village. The drive takes 3-4 hours and the trek is 3-4 hours.

    Trek to Bayali kharka

    At 08:00 AM: We will have our breakfast in front of Annapurna south, Hiuchuli and Majestic Machhapuchhre mountains before starting our second-day trek towards Bayali Kharka. The trail passes through the beautiful landscape at first the oak and rhododendron forest then the landscape changes to green pasture lands. We will slowly gain our elevation before reaching the Bayali kharka. The trek takes 5-6 hours.

    Trek to Khopra

    At 08:00 AM: Today’s trek starts with flat terrain first and then continuing down and going up towards the khopra ridge which is our destination for the third day we will walk through the ridge watching the amazing landscapes around us. We will see Dhaulagiri in front of us and Annapurna Fang, Annapurna south, Hiuchuli and Nilgiri in the north part of our trek. The trek takes 5-6 hours of walking.

    Visit Khayar Lake and Back to Khopra

    At 06:00 AM: Today we will start our early morning hike towards Khayer lake. It is the day trip where the lake is situated hidden in the laps of the Annapurna Himalayas. After reaching the lake we will spend a little time over there and return back to Khopra. The hike duration is 6-7 hours today. You can enjoy the magnificent lake and marvellous peaks surrounding the lake in this hike.

    Trek to Swanta

    At 08:00 AM: The fifth day of our trek starts after breakfast. The trail today is all going downwards. The trail passes through the Oak and bamboo forests before reaching the wheat, barley, mustard and buckwheat fields of Swanta village. The trek duration is 5-6 hours. Overnight at Swanta village.

    Trek to Ghorepani

    At 08:00 AM: After breakfast at the beautiful village on the shadows of Dhaulagiri, we then move more down towards Ghorepani. The trail t Ghorepani from Swanta is, first we will go steep down to cross the river and the trail starts to get steeper as we go towards the Sikha village and Ghorepani Deurali. The walk takes almost 3-4 hours.

    Sunrise from Poon Hill and Trek to Mohare Dada

    At 05:00 AM: Wake up early morning and hike towards the viewpoint of Poonhill. Poonhill is the second most popular destination for sunrise view after Kalapatthar. More than 15 peaks can clearly be visible from Poonhill. After sunrise, we will be back to Ghorepani for our breakfast. At 8:30 AM: After breakfast, we will start to hike towards Mohare dada. The trail passes through the beautiful rhododendron and oak forest. It takes 3-4 hours trek to reach Mohare dada and we will enjoy our sunset view from Mohare Danda. Overnight at Mohare eco-lodge.

    At 08:00 AM: After breakfast, we will start our trek today’s trek is mostly going downhill through the village and jungle which offers a great view of stunning mountain and breathtaking landscape. With trekking towards down through Magar village, we will visit an organic farm run by the Magar community to promote eco-tourism.

    Trek to Galeshwor, Drive to Pokhara
