What to expect

Stonehenge is the most famous prehistoric monument in the world and has been a World Heritage site for nearly 5,000 years. Its purpose and construction remain a mystery. Even today, no one knows for sure how it was built or what it was used for. Some believe it was a temple for the Druids of the Celtic religion, a Bronze Age cemetery, a lunar observatory, or even an ancient astronomical clock. The area around Stonehenge is just as interesting, with large prehistoric monuments stretching for several kilometres, such as the Avenue and the Cursus, as well as massive earthwork enclosures like Durrington Walls and the North Kite, and hundreds of burial mounds. Admission ticket not included.

Bath

You can visit the Roman Baths with their natural hot springs, the Pump House, the Abbey, Royal Crescent, The Circus, and the beautiful Pulteney Bridge. Bath is now a lively city and a great place for shopping, with everything from antique stores to designer boutiques. Set in the rolling countryside of southwest England, Bath is famous for its hot springs and Georgian buildings. The honey-colored Bath stone is used throughout the city, especially at Bath Abbey.
