Fukui private full day tour + PHOTOSHOOT. Select either Dinosaur museum or Tojinbo cliff route. Regardless of whether you are coming to Japan for the first time, or you’re an obsessed Japan lover, this intimate, private tour will be a unique experience to enhance your treasured memories in Japan. You will be taken to the Japan's most beautiful places, guided by a local English-speaking professional photographer. During the tour I will capture your magical moments, leaving you free to take in the sights without worrying about the best angles and light, or asking a stranger to take your picture! I am experienced in portrait and travel street photography, and my work has been published in many magazines, guidebooks including Lonely Planet and the city guides of tourism boards. A day out with me ensure you will have a knowledgeable, funny, local professional photographer, and Insta-worthy travel photos will be guaranteed!

The Natadera Temple is the head temple of the Shingon Sector and was established in 717. Toshitsune Maeda, the 3rd lord of the Kaga Clan, built the incense burning pavilion, 3-story pagoda, the bell tower, the study room. Magnificent scenery of strangely formed rocks that are said to be the remains from ancient volcanic eruptions undersea is a must-see. Also famous for viewing beautiful autumn leaves.

Eiheiji is a large temple complex and active monastery standing on a cedar covered slope in the mountains just outside Fukui City founded in 1244. Eiheiji is one of two head temples of the Soto Sect of Zen Buddhism. The temple complex consists of over 70 buildings and structures which are connected to each other by covered walkways that protect from the heavy snow seen in the region from December to March. Famous spot for autumn leaves.

Option 1 - Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum is one of the top thee museums of its kind in the world, and the largest in Japan, is dedicated to excavation, research, and most of all, education. The museum includes an excellent English audio guide.

Option 2: Tojinbo is a one kilometer long stretch of rugged basalt cliffs along the Sea of Japan coast north of Fukui City. The rocky coastline has been carved out by the waves, leaving deep chasms and precipitous bluffs that tower up to 30 meters above the water below. The coarse, pillar-shaped rocks look like bundles of hexagonal and pentagonal rods and are a unique geologically formation that can be seen in only three spots in the world and nowhere else in Japan.
