    Tribhuvan International Airport

    Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. In the evening, at around 7 pm, a comprehensive pre-trip orientation and briefing will be conducted by your trek leader at the hotel. This is the perfect time to ask last-minute questions regarding what to expect on the upcoming trip. Pro tip: If you arrive in Kathmandu early, you can explore the bustling streets of Thamel, walk around the ancient market of Ason or maybe even go out to the cinema to watch a Nepali film!     Drive to Pokhara

    After your early morning breakfast at the hotel, drive to Pokhara- popularly known as lake city. Check in to your hotel and explore around. Go boating in Fewa Lake, the 2nd largest and the most popular lake in Nepal and visit Tal Barahi Temple. If the weather’s clear, you’ll also see Mt. Fishtail, Annapurnas, and Mt. Dhaulagiri towering in the north. Spend the evening at leisure or stroll around the lakeside area. Try out Pokhara’s street food, shop for souvenirs, or go to one of the many chic restaurants in lakeside Pokhara. Overnight stay in Lakeside hotel Pokhara.

    Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Ghandruk

    Ghandruk

    After your early morning breakfast, drive to Nayapul, and from here, your trek will start. Trek through dense forests and some steep terrain to Ghandruk via the small town of Birethanti. Ghandruk, a beautiful village with one of the most significant Gurung settlements in Nepal. If time permits, you can explore the village and visit the Gurung Museum. Overnight stay at Ghandruk.

    Ghandruk to Chhomrong

    Start the trek early, and reach Kimrung Danda. A steep descent, and you’ll reach Kimrung Khola. Another steep ascent after crossing Kimrung Khola will take you to Chere Danda. Then it’s a gentle walk to Chhomrong, a beautiful village situated at the base of the Annapurna massif. Overnight stay in Chhomrong.

    Chhomrong to Bamboo

    Ghandruk

    Descend through the magnificent 2500 steps to Chhomrong Khola. Then climb the steep ascent to Sinuwa. Passing through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar, an easy downhill walk will bring you to Bamboo. Overnight stay in Bamboo.

    Bamboo to Deurali

    Today’s trek will lead you through a dense, cold, damp bamboo forest. After some steep ascents, you will reach the Himalayan Hotel, an iconic landmark for trekkers. The forest opens up then, and you’ll see some fantastic views of the glacial river below. A steep climb through a drier section of the forest will bring you to Hinku Cave. The trail then descends closer to the river, and then it’s a gentle ascent to Deurali. Overnight stay in Deurali.

    Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp, via Macchapuchre Base Camp

    Annapurna Base Camp

    Today is the most strenuous day in the ABC trek. Start an early trek to Bagar, then hike to Machhapuchre Base Camp (MBC). The trek might be tough, but the views of the beautiful mountains are extremely wonderful and rewarding. Leave MBC behind and trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), your primary highlight on the trip. Trek through the sparse vegetation and wide trails of the Annapurna sanctuary to reach ABC. The 360 panorama from ABC is phenomenal. Overnight stay in Annapurna Base Camp.

    Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo

    Trek uphill to Kuldighar and descend to Chhomrong Khola. Continue your trek, and climb the 2500 steps to Chhomrong. The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda. 20 minutes’ walk from Jhinu Danda leads you to one of the region’s most popular natural hot springs. Relax and rejuvenate. Overnight stay in Jhinu Danda.
