Please look for it next to the red mailbox in front of the main entrance of the Ishigaki Port Terminal.
What to expect
As dusk falls, the forest comes alive. In the deepening twilight, countless Yaeyama Hime fireflies begin their rhythmic dance, creating a breathtaking scene often described as "natural illumination."
Typical Tour Schedule
18:30 – Pick-up at Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal or your accommodation.
19:00 – Arrival at the firefly spot. Light is strictly prohibited for the fireflies’ sake. Please ensure your smartphone screen is turned OFF!
19:30 – Fireflies gradually begin to glow.
19:45 – Peak viewing of the beautiful firefly display.
20:00 – End of viewing.
20:30 – Drop-off at Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal or your accommodation.
Note: Fireflies typically start glowing about 30 minutes after sunset. The schedule may vary depending on the season and weather conditions.

Punctuality and Communication
Please arrive on time. If you miss the meeting time without prior notice, your booking will be treated as a cancellation, and cancellation fees will apply. If you expect to be late, please contact us immediately.
Final Confirmation
The shop will contact you by the day before the tour to confirm the meeting place and time. Please provide a phone number or email address reachable within Japan and keep an eye on your messages. If you do not hear from us by 6:00 PM the day before your tour, please contact us using the details provided on your ticket.
Safety Restrictions
Age Limit: Participants must be between 3 and 65 years old.
Health Restrictions: For safety reasons, we cannot accept bookings for pregnant individuals, children aged 0–2, or those with pre-existing medical conditions.
Weather Conditions
The tour will proceed in rainy weather. However, we may cancel the tour if field conditions are deemed unsafe.
Preparation and Conduct
Please use the restroom before the tour, as there are no facilities near the viewing site.
Participants under the influence of alcohol will not be allowed to join.

Guided tours are available in Japanese or English. Depending on the day's bookings, guidance may be provided in Japanese only. We appreciate your understanding.
