Discover a side of Algonquin Park that most day visitors never experience on a small-group adventure limited to just 7 guests.
This isn't a bus tour from lookout to lookout. You'll hike through Algonquin's forests and lakes, reach a scenic viewpoint for lunch, and — when conditions allow — finish with time to relax or swim at a quiet beach on Rock Lake.
Our regular route includes an approximately 5 km hike in the Rock Lake area, with scenic stops and plenty of opportunities for photos along the way. If conditions aren't suitable for swimming, we adapt the experience and hike the approximately 8 km Track & Tower Trail instead, home to one of the park's most memorable viewpoints.
With transportation from Toronto, park access, an experienced guide and a maximum of only 7 travelers, everything is designed to make exploring Algonquin easy, personal and memorable — especially for solo travelers and visitors without a car.
Our minivan will be parked outside the Tim Hortons right beside Christie subway station
We will depart from here at 7:45 am to Algonquin Park
We will stop to stretch our legs and take some pictures of this gorgeous lake.
Here is where our hike begins. This is one of the most scenic hiking trails in the park. At the top of the trail, we will relax and have our lunch enjoying one of the park's most scenic views.
This is the oldest and most iconic park in the province, a wildlife paradise and a spectacular place for outdoor enthusiast
