Take a drive through Mombasa Road to arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. You will see the beautiful scenery, including the Taita hills as you climb up to severin safari camp from Voi town.

Lunch will be served at the camp before guests proceed deeper into the park. We expect to see all the big cats in this safari and other grazers. We offer professional, highly experienced driver guides who are familiar with the terrain. We provide good, clean cars with a pop up roof for sightseeing and photography.     Pick up from hotel or airport and drive to Tsavo west National Park at 6 a.m. and drive through the Nairobi-Mombasa Road. The journey takes you through lovely sceneries in the eastern part of Kenya, sight-seeing wild animals on the way and the different cultural setting of the community around. After a 5-hr drive you will arrive at Voi town, where you will branch and head straight to the Tsavo west National Park main gate. You will do a game drive enroute to the Taita hills resort and spa for lunch, where variety of delicacies are served at the main dining area with a lot of ambience After lunch, drive and arrive at the famous Severin safari camp, check in and then depart for a game viewing drive. Return back to the lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting. Dinner and overnight at Severin safari camp

    Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary is situated on the foothills of Ngulia hills covering an area of 80 square kilometres, this sanctuary is fenced with a 1 high electric fence and protected by the game rangers and the stuff, not only spotting the black rhinos in Ngulia National Reserve your able also to spot the rest of the animals within the sanctuary for example like the leopards and elephants. In the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary the rhinos are mainly nocturnal and the chances of seeing one are slim black rhinos, apart from being understandably shy and more active at night, are browsers, not grazers and prefer to pass their time in the thick undergrowth.

    Spend the whole day exploring the Tsavo West national park which is more popular due to its scenic beauty that is characterised by the wide range of vegetation. The park is adjoining the great wildlife ranches where the Black and White Rhinos are found. The park is covered by the open savannah grassland dotted with Acacia woodlands, Scrublands, Rocky ridges and the Riverine vegetation. Its remotely located at the coastal province. It’s a home of all African big game especially the African big five which include: Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Rhinos and the shy Leopards. The other big game found at the park are: Giraffes, Zebras, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, Gerenuk, Lesser Kudu, Waterbucks, wildebeests and others. The parks also hosts a good number of bird species especially the rare birds like Corncrake, Basra reed warbler, secretary bird and many others.

    Mzima Springs

    Mzima springs is an oasis of green in the Tsavo west National park that produces an incredible 250 million litres of fresh water a day, the springs whose source rises in the Chyulu hills, provides the bulk of Mombasa ‘s fresh water, walking trail leads along the shoreline, during the year of 2009 the drought took heavy toll on the springs’ hippo population, the population is stable at around 20 individuals, there are also crocodiles and awide variety of birds.
