    Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater

    Ngorongoro Crater

    Pick up from hotel in Arusha and depart for Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing on the vast grasslands of the crater floor. The crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meter from the floor, it is considered to be one of the Wonders of the Natural World and is a veritable haven for wildlife.

    You will have picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool.

    Serengeti National Park

    Later ascend and drive to Serengeti National Park, you will arrive at the Naabi hills gate and after formalities you will enter Serengeti and probably the greatest park on earth. Drive to the camp with game drive enroute.

    Serengeti National Park

    Morning and evening game drives through the Serengeti plains. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, impala, buffalo, birds and up to ten thousand elephants.

    This is one of the few places in the Serengeti National Park where you can leave the jeep and see hippos up close, and take advantage of great photography opportunities offered from one of the observation points. Here is a picnic area where you can take a break or enjoy breakfast or lunch; on the sand you can see the unmistakable clover-shaped fingerprints left by these huge animals when, overnight, they leave the pool to graze on the grass around.
