Prison Island - Changuu Private Island
The Prison Island or Changuu Island is the middle Island of three visible from the Stone Town. The prison on list its Island was built in 1893. Historically this small Island was used as a point of concealment of slaves later becomes a temporary hospital and a quarantine Island especially during the outbreak of contagious disease in the last century. In the 1820’s Sultan Said brought a number of giant’s tortoise from Seychelles to Changuu Island. Even today you can see them. Many different birds can be seen. The Island itself is endowed in natural features with pure white sandy beaches for swimming and the colorful coral reef for snorkeling. Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park

Mikumi National Park
This morning will pick you from your hotel and transfer you to airport to catch your morning flight to Dar es salaam, where our driver will meet you and transfer you to Mikumi National Park. On arrival you will You’ll explore Mikumi National Park, nestled away in Tanzania’s Southern Highlands and one of the least-known parks in the country. It’s actually Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park, and there’s a good chance that you’ll see giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes and crocodiles amid all the baobabs, light woodland and savannah-like plains. Remember, too, that Mikumi is one of the best places in this region of Africa to see wild dogs. And because far fewer safaris make it out here than they do to other, better-known parks, you’ll enjoy the whole experience in relative peace.

Half Day game drive at Mikumi National Park - Departure

Mikumi National Park
Spend half day to see the best that Mikumi has to offer on a guided game drive through the park. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes and some of the park's lesser-known antelope species. in the afternoon you will be transferred back to Dar es salaam where you will catch your flight to Zanzibar and later catch your international flight back home.
