NEW LOCATION! Meeting point: Estomba & Mártires Palotinos. The class will take place at my home in the Belgrano R neighborhood. Belgrano R is a quiet, residential neighborhood in Buenos Aires. It's located in the northern part of the city, close to Palermo and well connected by train to downtown.

What to expect

In this experience, you'll get to taste our famous herby hot beverage "mate" and alfajores, learn all about the rituals surrounding this practice, while allowing for some time to get to know each other. We’ll then start off with the cooking class in which I’ll teach you to make empanadas, both the dough and the filling from scratch. After we are done cooking, as a starter we will have a typical picada, consisting of a charcuterie board. Finally, we’ll enjoy the meal we’ve prepared together paired with Malbec red wine and great conversation. You’ll get to try an Argentine classic dessert.

I'll accompany you on each and every step of the way, showing you the proper techniques and explaining a little bit of the history of the dishes and the different culinary traditions in the country. A fully hands-on experience!
