This park is the most outstanding monument in the protection of our dry forest and the independence of Costa Rica, there is located "La Casona" where in 1856 the Costa Rican army made up of compatriots killed a group of filibusters who intended to conquer the entire Central American territory. At the same time, you have the opportunity to walk through a dry forest trail, which contains 2% of the world's biodiversity, where you can see monkeys, birds, deer, and many more animals.
After the walk, we head to the city of Liberia, where you walk through the center of Liberia. Historically, Liberia has been called "The White City" for its white adobe houses, white dirt roads, and its people dressed all in white because of the extreme heat.
