Discover the authentic flavours of the Algarve through a gastronomic journey connecting local territory, products, & culinary tradition.
First, choose your option to start the tour.
Option 1: Vineyard Experience. Enjoy a guided visit to a local wine estate and learn about Algarve terroir, grape varieties, and winemaking traditions, as well as local fruit trees.
Option 2: Municipal Market Experience. Explore a traditional market and discover fresh local ingredients and their role in Algarve cuisine.
The experience continues at the Algarve Gourmet tasting room overlooking the vineyards.
Enjoy a gastronomic lunch with six regional tapas and a signature dessert, prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients from local producers.
The meal is paired with two glasses of estate wine, followed by a tasting of Portuguese fortified wine.
Dietary requirements can be accommodated upon prior request according to pricing.

1Algarve Gourmet - Wine, Food and Nature Tours & Events
This is the Option 1 to start this experience (the default one). In the Vineyard Experience, participants visit a local wine estate where they are introduced to Algarve Gourmet and its story, while learning about the Algarve terroir, regional grape varieties, and the winemaking methods that define Algarve wines. During the visit, traditional fruit trees are also presented, highlighting their historical importance in the region’s diet and local economy.

This is the Option 2 to start this experience. If you prefer to start the tour in the market, please let us know. In the Municipal Market Experience, the tour begins among stalls of fresh produce and local producers. This moment allows guests to discover the ingredients that form the foundation of Algarve cuisine and better understand the strong relationship between agriculture, seasonality, and gastronomy.

3Algarve Gourmet - Wine, Food and Nature Tours & Events
The tour culminates in the Algarve Gourmet tasting room overlooking the vineyard, where participants enjoy a gastronomic lunch consisting of six regional tapas and a signature dessert. The dishes are prepared live in a showcooking format, using fresh seasonal ingredients and paired with estate wines. Led by local hosts passionate about Algarve gastronomy and culture, the Algarve Vineyard Food Tour experience offers a true immersion in the flavours, landscape, and identity of the region.
