After pick-up from your accommodation, the Seven Hanging Valleys Tour begins, lasting approximately 6.5 to 7.5 hours, exploring one of the Algarve’s most iconic coastal landscapes.
The walk starts at Marinha Beach, known for its limestone arches rising from the sea. Along the trail, you pass Benagil Algar, Carvalho Beach, and Alfanzina Lighthouse, with panoramic Atlantic views. The route reveals the Seven Hanging Valleys, shaped by ancient watercourses, along with cliffs, hidden coves, and unique landscapes. The walk ends at Vale Centeanes Beach, with the possibility of a swim.
Difficulty: Moderate to challenging.
After the hike, enjoy a private vineyard lunch at Algarve Gourmet, overlooking the vines. Choose between a seven-course tasting menu inspired by the trail, featuring regional ingredients, or a traditional Algarve meal with salad, seafood cataplana, and dessert. Includes two glasses of local wine.

Explore one of Europe’s most spectacular coastal trails — the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail — on a guided 5.7 km walk along golden cliffs, natural arches and hidden coves. Formed by ancient watercourses that carved through limestone over thousands of years, the Seven Hanging Valleys reveal a dramatic landscape where the deep blue of the Atlantic contrasts with the warm ochre and golden tones of the cliffs. After the walk comes the reward: a private lunch at Algarve Gourmet overlooking the vineyard, featuring seven signature culinary creations, each inspired by one of the valleys explored during the hike and paired with carefully selected local wines. Alternatively, you could opt for a full traditional meal.
