    Day 1: Departure from Manila to Banaue, Ifugao (420 km) Your journey to the mountains begins early in the morning. At 5:30–6:00 AM, our driver will pick you up from your residence. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic drive as we traverse different cities and provinces on the way to Banaue. Along the route, we will stop 2–3 times for breaks and enjoy a hearty lunch at a local restaurant — a first taste of the flavors of the north. By afternoon, we’ll arrive at the Banaue Viewpoint Terraces. Here, you’ll stand before the legendary 2,000-year-old rice terraces, hand-carved by the Ifugao people into the Cordillera mountainsides. Often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World” and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the terraces rise about 1,500 meters (5,000 ft) above sea level and span 10,360 square kilometers of rugged mountain landscape. After visiting the viewpoint, we will continue to your accommodation in Banaue, where you can rest and prepare for the days ahead in the highlands.

    Banaue - Batad Rice Terraces Exploration

    Day 2: Discovery of Banaue – Batad Village Begin your morning at 7:00 AM with breakfast overlooking the Banaue Rice Terraces, a serene backdrop to start your day. At 8:00 AM, your guide will meet you for a ride on your private jeepney, the classic mountain vehicle. Along the way, we’ll pause at two village viewpoints for photos of grandeur landscapes. around 9:00 AM, we’ll reach the end of the road. a 15minute walk to Batad Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the dramatic amphitheater Batad Rice Terraces. After settling into your accommodation, prepare for a full day of discovery. we will continue with a guided trek through the rice paddies, climbing toward the highest viewpoint for the most breathtaking panorama of Batad. The journey then leads us further to Tappiya Waterfalls, where you relax with a swim beneath its cascading waters. By 2:00 PM, we hike back to the village and back to your accommodation. The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to savor.

    Batad - Sagada

    Day 3: Batad – Banaue – Sagada Begin your morning with breakfast in Batad. At 7:00 AM, we set off on a scenic three hour ride toward Sagada. The road climbs higher into the Cordilleras, passing sweeping views of the Banaue Rice Terraces and weaving through small rice villages, each with its own story and charm. Along the way, we pause at the Bontoc Museum, a cultural landmark of the mountain region. The museum features artifacts crafted by the Igorot people — tools of daily life, objects used in rituals, and symbols of a tradition deeply rooted in the land. Here, you’ll gain a glimpse into the richness and resilience of indigenous culture.

    Day 4: Sagada Discovery After breakfast, at 8:30 AM, your private driver will pick you up for a full-day exploration of Sagada Village. Discover the town’s most iconic sites: the Hanging Coffins, Burial Cave, Echo Valley, and the Sagada Old Church. Refresh yourself with a hike to the Bomod-ok Waterfalls, and for the more adventurous, there’s the option to try spelunking at Sumaguing Cave. This immersive tour lasts about 8 hours, allowing you to experience both the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Sagada. Stay overnight at Rock Inn Café, a cozy retreat surrounded by orange orchards and mountain views.

    Day 5: Sagada – Vigan Heritage Town At 6:00 AM, begin the scenic drive down from the mountains toward Vigan, a journey of about six hours with sweeping views along the mountain roads. Arrive at your hotel by 12:00 NN for lunch and some time to rest. In the afternoon, at 2:00 PM, discover the charm of the Vigan Heritage Site, a UNESCO World Heritage City. Experience a traditional kalesa ride — the horse-drawn carriage introduced during the Spanish colonial era — as you explore cobblestone streets lined with ancestral houses, museums, and shops. By 5:00 PM, return to your hotel to end the day.

    Day 6: Vigan – Pagudpud After breakfast at 8:00 AM, we continue our journey north toward the tropical town of Pagudpud, known for its white-sand beaches. Along the way, we’ll visit the striking Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, the iconic Bangui Windmill Farm, and the historic Cape Bojeador Lighthouse. By 1:00 PM, arrive at your beachfront hotel in Pagudpud. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy the sea and sand.

For guests who prefer a shorter journey, there is an option to fly from Laoag Airport to Manila (1.5 hours flight time). Please note: flight tickets are not included in the package, but airport drop-off is provided. This marks the end of your northern adventure — from ancient terraces and mountain villages, to heritage towns and tropical shores — a journey of culture, nature, and lasting memories.
