Our walking tours of the city are led by our very passionate guide, a true expert of the Lucchese heritage and history.
Starting the tour from Piazzale Verdi, we'll walk into the heart of the city to reach Piazza San Michele. The guide will illustrate the history of the city throughout the ages, including the fascinating architectural changes that made the city as it looks today.
We'll visit Via Fillungo, the bustling commercial road of Lucca, and see Piazza Anfiteatro, built on the ruins of the ancient roman amphitheater.
Our guide will also tell us about the life and curiosities of Lucca's most celebrated citizen, the famous composer Giacomo Puccini.
Marvel at the facade of San Martin Cathedral, and follow the labyrinth carved on the wall outside the church!
Finishing the tour with a short walk on the walls of Lucca, we'll then head back where we started, with a lot of facts and anecdotes on our beautiful town.
Children below 10 free if accompanied by adult (1 for each).
