We will visit the ashram of the great philosopher Ramana Maharishi, This 19th century philosopher was renowned for his saintly life, for being fully realized, and for the powerful transmissions that often occurred to visitors in his presence. We will visit the meditation hall. A small trek takes us to the cave where Ramana Maharishi meditated for 17 years from 1899-1916. The cave is essentially an ashram in the shape of a perfect ‘OM’ located on the eastern slope of the famous Arunachala hill.
