Arrival at Cochin airport, meeting and welcome by our representative, and installation at the hotel. In the afternoon, city tour of Cochin to visit the Dutch Palace (built by the Portuguese), the Jewish Town, the Jewish Synagogue of 1568, the Spice Market, where the air is filled with the smell spicy spices, the Saint-François church and Chinese fishing nets. 2Mattancherry Palace
Mattanchery Palace: Mattancherry Palace is a Portuguese palace popularly known as the Dutch Palace. It is now a museum exhibiting paraphernalia belonging to the rajas of Kochi. The four separate wings of Mattancherry Palace surround a central courtyard which also has a temple.

One of the major attractions near Munnar is the Eravikulam National Park. This park is famous for its endangered inhabitant - the Nilgiri Tahr. Spread over an area of 97 km², this park is also home to several species of rare butterflies, animals and birds. An ideal place for trekking, the park offers a magnificent view of tea plantations caressed by blankets of mist. The park becomes a hot destination when the slopes of the hill are covered with a blue carpet, resulting from the flowering of the Neelakurinji. It is an endemic plant of this part of the Western Ghats which blooms once every twelve years.

Munnar has its own heritage when it comes to the origins and evolution of tea plantations. Taking this heritage into account and to preserve and showcase some of the exquisite and interesting aspects of the genesis and growth of tea plantations in the high ranges of Kerala, a museum exclusively dedicated to tea was opened a few years ago. by Tata Tea in Munnar. This tea museum houses artifacts, photographs and machinery; all of whom have a story to tell about the origins and growth of tea plantations in Munnar. The museum is located at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea in Munnar and is worth a visit.

12Munnar Hiking Trails
After breakfast, depart for Periyar in the morning (4 hours) and transfer to hotel upon arrival. You can opt for Periyar and witness the fascinating activities of the tribes who collect honey from the dangerous hill bees. Evening transfer to the hotel.
