Located in the safest square meter of Rio de Janeiro, next to the headquarters of BOPE (a type of Brazilian SWAT), the Favela Tavares Bastos is where is located The Maze Rio: a house with an unusual architecture, covered with mosaics, with a panoramic view to Guanabara Bay and Sugarloaf.
A visit to Tavares Bastos is a true Carioca experience, where art, history and culture come together, providing an authentic local synergy of the real Rio de Janeiro.
- We will park our car and take a local Kombi van to the top of the Favela.
