What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Please meet your guide in front of the Main Doors of the Canmore Recreation Centre. They will have a clip board. Transportation to and from the meeting location is included. Park Entry Fees are included. The meeting location is easily accessible by walking, public transit, or taxi.
What to expect
Upon reaching the sheltered rock face adorned with ancient pictographs, we gather in awe as our guide points out the intricate symbols etched into the stone—each telling a story of the past, depicting significant events, spiritual beliefs, and the daily lives of those who came before us. The vibrant reds and blacks of the ochre pigments stand in stark contrast to the canyon’s natural hues, inviting us to reflect on the legacy of these early inhabitants and their profound understanding of the world around them.
