Just 20 min from Tokyo Station and 3 min walk from the nearest station. Choose your kimono for photogenic memories, then enjoy casual tea ceremony, cooking, a private concert, and a hands-on Japanese instrument lesson. What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Let's meet at 2nd floor of JR Shin Urayasu station JE08. Meeting place details will be provided after booking.
What to expect
Your friendly host will meet you at the station and guide you to a Japanese home. On the way, we stop by a supermarket where you’ll learn about unique Japanese ingredients.
Once at the home, you’ll first change into a cotton kimono called yukata. This outfit is photogenic—perfect for taking memorable photos. After that, we’ll start experiences.
For cooking, you can choose in advance between Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki (a savory pancake) or norimaki (sushi rolls). Please note that one menu must be chosen for the whole group.
You will enjoy two bowls of matcha—Your first bowl of matcha will be served to you with a beautiful ceremony. And the second prepared by yourself. This is casual tea ceremony so just enjoy the experience.
Live music with the koto, a traditional Japanese string instrument, you will enjoy beautiful pieces play by your host, and then it’s your turn to play. Don’t worry, guidance will help you create elegant sounds.
