My first of hundreds highlights tours I led happened in 2012 but I still love showing my favorite city. We will cover all the most important sights, will explore the city from a car (much less traffic now with the congestion pricing) and get out for walks in the most interesting locations.

    Probably the most famous hotel in New York if not America it housed the Beatles, Marilyn Monroe and most famously of all - Kevin McCallister of Home Alone 2

    The most central avenue of them all this portion of the Fifth is one of the most expensive streets of the world with is stores, hotels and office towers

    Rockefeller Center

    The largest private real estate development in history at the time of construction Rockefeller Center surprised everyone but the best time to see it is during the holidays when the Tree is here

    Times Square

    The most visited place in USA, in the middle of the Theater District, Times Square is best seen at night so you'll have to come back but even so it will impress you with the lights and the crowds

    Depending on the season Bryant Park has a lot to offer. During winter months a holiday fair takes place around the best skating rink in town. In the summer a huge meadow in the middle of skyscrapers give opportunity for rest and even cultural enrichment

    Stephen A. Schwarzman Building

    New York Public Library's Main Branch is right here on 5th avenue. If we have time let's go in to see the Treasures of the library that include original toys played by Cristopher Robin!

    Grand Central Terminal

    The largest and arguably most beautiful railroad terminal in the world. Here we will catch a subway that will take us Downtown.

    The Oculus

    This is basically the Grand Central Terminal of the XXI century. Designed by Calatrava and finished in 2016 it's the 4 billion extravagancy New York badly needed

    The skyscraping complex built on the spot of the old one, perished in the 9/11 attacks. Not everything is finished here as of 2022 but we are getting there

    The National 9/11 Memorial & Museum

    This is the place of solemn remembrance of the 2001 terrorist attacks on New York City in which almost 3000 people died in the matter of 102 minutes. We will see the memorial and I will tell the story of how events of that tragic morning unfolded.

    The richest church in the nation is rightly placed on Wall street (corner of Broadway). No wonder Nicholas Cage's character found Templar treasures right under the church in National Treasure movie. The cemetery contains among others the first treasurer of the USA - Alexander Hamilton

    Wall Street

    An ancient thoroughfare used to be the northern border of the city of New Amsterdam - original New York designation. Now an euphemism for the financial industry this is the best known street in the country if not the world.

    Federal Hall

    This is where the American government was born, the first Capitol building stood on this spot, first Congress sat here and first President was inaugurated here. Sadly the original structure is gone but his 1842 customs house (and later subtreasury) now houses a museum.

    The largest exchange in the world started in 1792 with a simple document known as the Buttonwood Agreement. That's why the only tree you'll find here is the buttonwood tree (platanus occidentalis). Except for the month of December when the traditional Christmas Tree is also here (this is where the Charging Bull was originally placed as a present to America).

    One of the freshest sights in NYC the now famous sculpture was moved here on Broad street in December of 2018, she used to stand in front of the Bull on Broadway, surrounded by crowds who risked to be hit by an express bus

    One of the biggest Points of Interest in New York it has more than 3 tons of bronze and even more in chuptzah since it was placed on the city streets illegally but become one of its symbols

    Bowling Green

    The oldest public park of the city does not impress much until you hear its history and find out that the fence surround the park is 5 years older than the United States
