07:30 – 08:00: Your professional tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter before starting the comfortable journey to Ninh Binh province. 09:15: Take a 15–20 minute break on the way to relax, enjoy refreshments, and prepare for the exciting day ahead in Ninh Binh.
10:30: Arrive in Hoa Lư Ancient Capital, the first centralized feudal state of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. Here, you’ll explore the historical temples of the Dinh and Le kings and learn fascinating stories about the country’s early dynasties, including the Dinh, Early Le, and Ly periods. This is a perfect opportunity to dive deeper into Vietnam’s rich cultural and political history.
At 11:45, enjoy a tasty buffet lunch featuring local Ninh Binh dishes with vegetarian options available. At 13:00, explore Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location of Kong: Skull Island, on a scenic 2-hour boat trip through stunning caves and limestone valleys. By 15:00, continue with a relaxing 30–40 minute cycling tour around nearby villages to experience the peaceful countryside and local daily life.
15:45: Transfer to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave), where you'll climb nearly 500 steps to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain. From the summit, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc and the stunning limestone landscape below.
17:00: Return to the bus and transfer to your hotel, bungalow, or homestay in Tam Coc or Ninh Binh. Enjoy some free time to relax before dinner, which will be served at your accommodation. After dinner, spend a leisurely evening at your own pace and overnight stay in Tam Coc or Ninh Binh.
Start your morning with breakfast at your hotel or bungalow, then get ready for the day’s adventure. At 08:30, meet your friendly guide and enjoy a cycling tour to Thai Vi Temple and Bich Dong Pagoda, home to one of Vietnam’s most beautiful caves. By 11:30, check out and savor a delicious lunch featuring local specialties such as goat meat, fish, spring rolls, and fried rice, with vegetarian options always available.
At 13:00, continue to Thung Nham Bird Valley and board a small sampan to explore Hang But (Buddhist Cave), a 500-meter cave adorned with stunning stalactites and stalagmites, including a Buddha-shaped formation beside an underground river. Visit the local tropical fruit orchard before enjoying the afternoon at the bird park. Glide quietly through Thung Chim, home to over 4,000 birds of 40 species, offering the perfect opportunity to take amazing photos and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and wildlife of Ninh Binh.
