Famous for its faded colonial architecture, bohemian atmosphere, historic cafes, and world-renowned antique markets. Your guide will share a fascinating piece of history: how the 1871 yellow fever epidemic forced the elite to abandon their grand colonial mansions. These became crowded immigrant tenement houses (conventillos), where the melancholic dance of Tango was born and evolved from the margins of society to the world stage. Since this is a private tour, we can pull over at any picturesque corner for photos.
