  The Central Mosque of Almaty

  The central mosque of Almaty is one of the largest and most beautiful mosques in Kazakhstan. Built in 1999 on the site of an old mosque, functioning since 1890, it was included in the list of the main attractions of the city. The capacity of the mosque is designed for 7 thousand parishioners. The territory of the yard is 0.95 hectares.   Medeu Skating Rink and Ski resort

  The ice skating rink Medeu, located at an altitude of 1691.2 meters above sea level, is known throughout the world. It was erected in 1972.   Kok-Tyube is a mountain located in close proximity to the city of Almaty. Height - 1130 m above sea level. In the sixties of the 20th century, Kok-Tyube was called Verigina Gora.
