Leave the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City behind as you begin your journey to My Tho, a charming town on the left bank of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, explore the historic Vinh Trang Pagoda, dating back to the late 19th century. Then, board a traditional sampan and cruise along the river, passing the four scenic islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.
Stop at Unicorn Island to stroll through peaceful countryside lanes, admire lush orchards, sample tropical fruits, and enjoy local folk music performed by villagers. Visit a nearby fruit plantation for a closer look at regional produce.
Next, take a hand-rowed sampan ride through the tranquil Thoi Son canal, soaking in the beauty of the countryside. Visit a family-run honey farm and participate in a honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
In the afternoon, cycle through Tan Thach village and meet local residents to experience daily life in the Mekong Delta. For those who prefer, relax in a hammock and enjoy the gentle breeze instead of cycling

Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification palace, which was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.
Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral
Visit the historic Central Post Office and buy some souvenirs.
Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.
In the afternoon, continue the city tour by discovering the city's Western side. Ride to Cho Lon (Big Market)
Visit Thien Hau Pagoda, also known as Ba Thien Hau Pagoda or Thien Hau Temple, is located at number 710, Nguyen Trai Street, Ho Chi Minh City. Regarded as one of the oldest Chinese pagodas in Ho Chi Minh City, the pagoda has a significant influence on the cultural life of both Vietnamese and Chinese people living in the city.
Continue to Bach Dang harbor. After checking in the waterbus tickets, and stabilizing your seat, the boat will start to depart. During the trip, you will have a unique view of the most typical commercial buildings of the city including the Vinhomes Central Park urban area, the magnificent Landmark 81 tower, the Bitexco Financial Tower, the green peaceful District 2.
Try to discover the soul of this land - Saigon River by water bus, maybe you will realize many miracles, a more accurate view of the land once called Paris of Indochina or the Pearl of the Far East. 18:00 pm: Transfer back your hotel or meeting point. Finish the trip.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy some free time until your driver arrives to transfer you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your flight to Phu Quoc Island.
Upon arrival at Phu Quoc Airport, a driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Check-in begins from 2:00 PM onwards, and your room will be ready upon arrival if available.

After a relaxing ride back to the pier, enjoy a short break at a riverside hut before continuing to the Phu Quoc countryside. There, you’ll have a chance to explore a tropical garden, learn about organic farming practices, and engage with a charming handicraft corner—a delightful way to connect with the island's local culture and creativity.
