    The Castle of Santa Bárbara was the origin of the Muslim city of Alicante. It has three construction periods and explains the most important events that the city has experienced, from the Muslim conquest to the Spanish Civil War. We will pass through the Puerta de la Santa Faz to reach the "matxo" of the castle (the upper part), and then you will enjoy a drink on one of the most magical terraces in the city.

    The meeting point. An iconic building that represents the arrival of the XXth century. Located on Explanada de España, it represents the modernist style of the city and is a building that marked an era in tourism and urban development. From here we will begin our route through the city to discover its most charming corners.

    The town hall is the very centre of the city, from where Calle Mayor and the Santa Cruz neighbourhood extend.     One of the most iconic views in the city and the old quarter. A baroque church that encapsulates the history of the city and from where we can enjoy fabulous views. The church was part of the city walls and houses an interesting collection of baroque art.
