Your adventure begins in the grand courtyard of Pitti Palace, where you’ll admire the stunning “Artichoke” Fountain, an octagonal basin crowned by a bronze lily. From here, step into the heart of the Amphitheatre, the first phase of the Boboli Garden’s design. As you ascend the hill, marvel at Neptune’s Fountain, before reaching the grand Statue of Abundance, a masterpiece by Giambologna. Then, descend through the majestic Viottolone, a cypress-lined avenue dotted with statues, leading to the enchanting Isolotto, home to The Ocean Fountain, another stunning work by Giambologna. The tour’s final stops include the Giardino del Cavaliere, designed by Michelangelo, the Kaffeehaus, and the spectacular Buontalenti Grotto—a whimsical masterpiece adorned with limestone stalactites, shells, and terracotta reliefs, brought to life with mesmerizing water features.
