Pick up from Airport is a Shared airport transfer. Guests will be met and transferred to the Capital on Bath Hotel or similar. IMPORTANT: Flight details need to be advised prior to commencement of the tour.
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Explore Constitution Hill and other highlights of Johannesburg with your expert local guide. Return to the hotel late afternoon in time to freshen up and dine at the hotel (own account).
After breakfast, meet your guide at reception and depart to the Kruger National Park area, via Pretoria for an orientation tour. Visit the majestic Voortrekker Monument.
Be guided to Union Buildings, offering stunning city views and have a photo opportunity at the iconic Nelson Mandela statue. Enjoy lunch en route (own account). Arrive at the hotel in the late afternoon, with a bit of leisure time before dinner.
Wake up early and receive a breakfast pack to enjoy in the iconic Kruger National Park (conservation fee included). Join an open safari game drive, spending a half day in the park. Track the ‘Big 5’ and a variety of other wildlife and bird species. The park boasts one of the largest and most successful conservation schemes in the world, and the diversity of fauna and flora promise an unforgettable bushveld experience. Exit the park in time for lunch at the lodge (own account). Spend time at leisure, enjoy peaceful time next to the swimming pool or on the deck overlooking the park at Kruger Gate. Spend the afternoon on another game viewing experience, this time in a closed vehicle. Arrive at the lodge in time for dinner around a camp fire.
After an early breakfast, head to one of Mpumalanga’s most magnificent topographical attractions: the Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondavels. The Panorama Route affords guests memorable views of the more significant sites in this area including God’s Window, Lisbon Falls, and the Pinnacle. Once at the lodge, guests enjoy high tea before heading off for an afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle, then returning to the lodge for dinner.
