During your approximately 2.5-hour hike (around 5 miles), you’ll visit some of the park’s most iconic highlights, including:
Rio Celeste Waterfall, famous for its stunning turquoise color
Los Teñideros, where two rivers merge to create the magical blue water
Bubbling thermal springs and the “Borbollones,” where volcanic gases heat the river
Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife such as sloths, monkeys, and a wide variety of tropical birds native to Costa Rica’s Caribbean slope.
After your hike, enjoy a delicious traditional Costa Rican lunch in the charming rural town of Bijagua, where you’ll experience local culture and flavors.
