Its Acropolis, which rises 1300 feet above the lower city located on the plain of the Caicus River, is a must-see with its monuments and constructions dating back to the Hellenistic Age.Asklepion and discover one of the earliest known medical complexes dedicated to the god of health, Asklepios, son of Apollo.
