Morning Drive: Depart from Pokhara and enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Nayapul, the starting point of the trek. Trek to Tikhedhunga: Begin your trek with a pleasant walk through terraced fields and local villages. Cross the Modi Khola River via a suspension bridge. Ulleri Stairs: Tackle the famous Ulleri stairs, a steep climb consisting of over 3,000 stone steps, offering glimpses of the stunning landscape. Tikhedhunga Arrival: Arrive in Tikhedhunga, a charming village with beautiful views and welcoming guesthouses.
Early Start: Begin your trek early in the morning, continuing the climb through Ulleri. Rhododendron Forests: Walk through dense rhododendron and oak forests, which are especially vibrant during the spring season when the rhododendrons are in full bloom. Mountain Views: As you ascend, enjoy magnificent views of the Annapurna South and Hiunchuli mountains. Ghorepani Village: Arrive in Ghorepani, a picturesque village surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Ghorepani is a popular stop for trekkers, offering comfortable lodges and warm hospitality.
Early Morning Hike: Start before dawn to hike up to Poon Hill (3,210 meters) and catch the stunning sunrise. Poon Hill Viewpoint: From the top, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, including peaks like Annapurna South, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and Dhaulagiri. Return to Ghorepani: Descend back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Trek to Nayapul: Continue your descent through beautiful forests and villages, retracing your steps back to Nayapul. Drive to Pokhara: Upon reaching Nayapul, drive back to Pokhara, arriving by late afternoon or early evening.
