What to expect
If you love nature and are looking for an authentic Bali experience to really get in touch with its people we highly recommend doing this activity. So take a hike in the heart of the Balinese countryside with a local hiking guide, cross the forest to discover its secrets: you pick and taste a thousand tropical fruits such as white mango, jack fruit, coconuts, snake skin fruit, the passion fruit. You will also pick vegetables that will serve you later in the day. Leaving the forest, you will walk through rice terraces grown all year round thanks to the tropical climate where you will be the only one to be able to contemplate them. Your hike will end in beauty since once you arrive at your Balinese host that you will help to prepare a traditional meal, that you will share with his family thanks to your harvest of vegetables made during your walk. For those looking for the real Bali this activity is for you!
