Discover the Moroccan Sahara with an unusual overnight experience in the desert.
Departing from the village of Mhamid El Ghizlane, enjoy a 2-day and 1-night excursion to hike on the back of a camel, listen to the silence of the desert, admire a sunset, walk in the dunes, enjoy a traditional hammam and sleep under the stars. This 2-day excursion is also an opportunity to discover the Sahrawi nomadic culture.
Departures from Marrakech and Ouarzazate are also possible on request.
The starting point of the excursion is located at the café / restaurant Mélodie du Désert located at the entrance of the village of Mhamid El Ghizlane.
Departure from the village at 2 p.m. (flexible schedule on request). Arrival at the village of Mhamid El Ghizlane, we depart on the back of a camel (or on foot, as desired) along the Oued Drâa then the palm grove to reach the fixed bivouac "Desert Melody" located in the heart of a erg in the middle of the Sahara.
The evening is offered around the fire, with songs of the desert. The night takes place in a tent (hard) or under the stars, at your convenience.
After breakfast, departure on foot (or on the back of a camel) with a camel caravan for a hike in the heart of the dunes. It is already the Sahara, 100% escape, 100% nature. The opportunity also to discover what could be the old nomadic caravans. This short excursion invites a nice disconnection, accessible to all. Return to the village at 2 p.m. (flexible schedule on request)
