You will never be put under pressure to partake in any activity that you are not comfortable with but we do encourage everyone to join in with the fun to make the day special.

Meeting and pickup
After disembarking, walk up the exit ramp to the Security Gateway where you will find your BusyBus guide/driver for the day. They will be wearing a Hi-Viz BusyBus vest and holding our BusyBus Sign on a pole.

We call into Bowness to get an upclose view of England's Longest Lake. We allow time for those who want to go for the Lake Cruise to get their tickets and then continue with our journey to Ambleside to meet the incoming Lake Cruiser

Take a trip on one of Windermere's beautiful lake cruisers on this 40 minute crossing from Bowness to Ambleside. Sit back, enjoy the scenery and listen to the commentary

This is the home of the world famous Grasmere Gingerbread Shop and the final resting place of William Wordsworth.

Delight in the aroma of freshly baked Gingerbread before stepping back in time into this quaint little shop where you will be greeted by characters from Victorian days. Oh Yes, don't forget to stock up on that lovely Gingerbread....it is world famous.

Spend time wandering around this typical Lake District Town, looking for evidence of the old mills, trying some of the cuisine or just taking in the charm of this lovely place on the northern shores of Windermere. If the weather is really nice, we may reduce stay to 30 minutes and encourage that you buy goodies for an ourdoor picnic in the Langdales.
