Step back in time as you explore the unique and historic Chester Rows, a one-of-a-kind shopping and architectural marvel dating back to the medieval era. Wander through the famous two-level covered walkways lines with boutique shops, cafes nd artisan stalls. Take in the stunning black and white timber framed buildings that create a picture-perfect setting, many dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries. We see more superb architecture as we head to the centre of the city.
The Centre of the City of Chester, a historic meeting point where four of the city's oldest streets converge. Live music by street performers is the norm in this part of the city. Stand where Chester's roman roots and medieval past intersect, surrounded by stunning Tyudor-style buildings and charming shops.
Our walking tour will end at this point. Continue to marvel at the inticate red sandstone, soaring spires and beautifully clock tower of the Town Hall. You will be close to the Visitor Centre where you can buy some souvenirs.
