You are going to visit the Tonle Sap Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. It is located in the northwest of Cambodia, and is part of the Mekong River system.

The lake has a surface area of 2,700 square kilometers in the dry season, but can expand to 16,000 square kilometers in the wet season. This is because the Mekong River floods the lake during the rainy season, and the water flows back into the river in the dry season.

Tonle Sap Lake is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including fish, birds, and reptiles. It is also an important source of food and transportation for the people of Cambodia.

The lake is facing a number of threats, including pollution, deforestation, and climate change. However, there are a number of conservation efforts underway to protect the lake and its ecosystem.
