The tour start time is flexible and can be adjusted to your cruise ship’s disembarkation time when the ship arrives after 9:00 AM. Pickup and drop off at the cruise port are included for all passengers.
Explore Sete Cidades, one of São Miguel’s most impressive volcanic landscapes. Enjoy panoramic views over the crater and its famous blue and green lakes, surrounded by lush volcanic scenery. Your local guide will share the stories, geology and traditions that make this area so distinctive.
Continue to the village of Sete Cidades, where you will have time to explore the center and visit the charming Neo-Gothic Church of São Nicolau.
The tour continues to Miradouro do Escalvado, a spectacular viewpoint overlooking Mosteiros and its rugged lava coastline. It is an ideal place to enjoy the Atlantic scenery and capture memorable photos.
At the end of the excursion, we will return you to the cruise port with sufficient time before your ship’s scheduled departure.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
• We guarantee pickup for all travelers from the Ponta Delgada cruise terminal. We will inside the cruise terminal, holding a sign with your name on it.
•For cruise ships arriving after 9:00 AM, the tour start time will be adjusted to begin after the ship has docked and passengers have disembarked. We kindly ask that you disembark as quickly as possible.
• For all ships docking at the main cruise terminal, the meeting point is inside the terminal lounge, where our guide will be holding a sign with “iGoAzores”.
• For cruise ships docking at the commercial harbor, pick-up will be made from the shuttle stop, following the instructions previously provided.
• This activity is exclusively for cruise ship travelers. If you wish to take part, please contact us first to find out the conditions.
All travelers will be gathered and picked up inside the cruise terminal's welcome lounge. We will be waiting in the welcome lounge holding a sign with your name on it, do not leave the site.
