During this 5H30 Shore Excursion tour, you will discover the beautiful viewpoints of São Miguel island, wander among fumaroles, volcanic hot springs, taste the last 100% natural tea in the world, witness the breathtaking views and if the stopover time on your cruise ship allows you will have the opportunity visit one of the pineapple plantations, unique in its cultivation process.

Meeting and pickup
• We guarantee pickup for all travelers from the Ponta Delgada cruise terminal. We will inside the cruise terminal, holding a sign with your name on it. • Cruise travelers are responsible for finding their guide by searching for their name or "iGoAzores" on the signs. • Cruise ships docking before 8am, the tour starts at 9am. • Cruise ships docking after 9am, the starting time of the tour will be adjusted with disembark. • This activity is exclusively for cruise ship travelers. If you are not in a cruise and wish to take part, please contact us first to find out the conditions.
The meeting point is at the cruise ship terminal hall in Ponta Delgada, we will be there holding a sign with your name on it. Never use google maps or other application, the marker does not recognize the inner space of the cruise terminal ! Never walk out of the cruise ship terminal hall!

Gorreana Tea Plantation is situated in a picturesque setting, surrounded by lush green landscapes, allowing visitors to explore the tea fields and learn about the tea production process. Our Tour guides will share insights about the history of the plantation, the cultivation of tea, and the traditional methods used in tea processing. The plantation primarily grows two types of tea: green tea and black tea and travelers can taste freshly brewed teas and learn about the distinct flavors and characteristics of each variety.

Dive into the charming and mistic Furnas volcano, where geothermal springs and gardens abound. Visit Terra Nostra Park to relax in the thermal pool or explore the lush surroundings (entrance fee included). Discover the Furnas Lake Serenity, renowned for its geothermal activity. As you approach, you'll notice steam rising from the ground and bubbling hot springs, creating an otherworldly atmosphere. The smell of sulfur in the air adds to the sense of being in a place of natural power.
