We meet at a popular local eatery in Rose Street, one of Bo-Kaap's borders. This is where we begin our journey down some of Bo-Kaap's oldest roads to explore this 370-year-old neighbourhood in a fun but informative way. We stop off at a local food host to sample some yummy traditional snacks and bakes with Tea, after that, we stroll down Chiappinni St to end back at the Bo-Kaap Deli. Other things to note
Samosa
Traditional Beef Mince or Cheese & Corn
Dhaaltjie (Chilli Bite)
Pea Flour, Onion and Spinach Fried Balls
Koesister
Traditional spiced Cape Malay fried Donut
I will meet you in front of the Bo-Kaap Deli on 114 Church Street, Bo-Kaap. It's a blue café on the corner of Rose and Church Streets. Parking is very limited in Bo-Kaap, so it's best to take an Uber or park on Riebeeck Square and walk up one road to the meeting point.
