The Printmaking Pennant Flags Art Kit is a unique opportunity for students to explore the art of printmaking while creating meaningful and colorful pennant flags. In this class, students will learn the techniques of printmaking onto fabric, while also creating a souvenir to remind them of moments from the favorite parts of their trip.

We are located on the Riverwalk, two doors down from the Historic Park Theater. The Historic Park Theater is the tall building in the middle of town.

What to expect
Participants will get to design the 5 different printing plates using an assortment of images or drawing designs that are personal and unique to them. Once the plates are ready, participants then use the paint included in their art kit to transfer their designs onto the fabric. There are 10 pieces of fabric included in the kit so that two prints of each plate can be created. Once the prints are dry, the participants will assemble their own set of pennant flags that they have created themselves, each one a unique depiction of things that are important to them. These pennant flags can be used to decorate personal spaces, given away as gifts, or used for meditation practices similar to the beautiful Prayer Flags from India and Tibet.
The Inspired Art Kits include all of the instructions and materials needed to create your one of a kind piece. Whether you want to join us for a drop-in class or take the kit home, experience the calming and colorful process of creating a unique piece of art. The instructions provided will guide you through the process; ensuring each participant will be proud of their piece at the end of the art experience.
