This is one of the only tours in Panama that includes the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites inside the City of Panama, encompassing over 500 years of history in the american continent. First, walk through the ruins of the first european settlement on the Pacific, site that was destroyed during an actual pirate raid back in the 1600's. Later stroll through Casco Antiguo, the restored and renovated spanish colonial settlement, second site of the City of Panama.

    Complex of Ruins of the First European Settlement on the Pacific. Going back as far as 1519, the city lasted over a hundred years before being destroyed by fire during a pirate raid. We will visit a comprehensive museum that details the historical, cultural and archeological wealth found in the site. Then we will walk through the streets of the ruined city and climb to the top of the ancient cathedral's tower. Visitor Center + Walking Tour of the Ruins.

    Restored and Renovated Colonial Settlement, 2nd Site of The City of Panama. We will walk through the busy red brick streets of the active historical quarter of the City of Panama. This is the neighborhood with all the restaurants, shops, rooftop, nightlife...and history. We will visit the 4 plazas, spanish colonial churces, historical sites, architecture and more.
