We will begin the tour in the village, visiting Ahu Tahai, which has 3 restored platforms and the only moai that has eyes made of white coral.
The excursion will continue with a visit to Ahu Akivi, where you will find 7 moais facing the sea, which were restored in 1960
We will then proceed to Puna Pau to learn more about the "Pukao" or moai headdresses. We will walk to the tip of a small volcano to see a crater with red scoria where the "hats" were carved. Additionally, you will enjoy a beautiful view of Terevaka and the village.
