    Hotel Chhimeki

    Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a friendly representative from Trek Mania Nepal will warmly welcome you with a traditional scarf and fresh flowers. After a brief introduction, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle. The rest of the day is free for you to relax, recover from your journey, and explore the nearby surroundings at your own pace. Get a good night’s rest—your Himalayan adventure begins tomorrow!

  • Day 2

    Kathmandu to Dharapani via Besisahar (1,960m/6,430ft) – 7 to 8 hours

    We begin our journey with a scenic drive from Kathmandu through winding mountain roads, terraced fields, and charming villages. This 5–6 hour ride offers beautiful glimpses of the Trishuli and Marsyangdi Rivers along the way.

    After a short break at Besisahar, we switch to a jeep for a more rugged, off-road adventure toward Dharapani. The road winds through waterfalls, dense forests, and traditional villages. By evening, we reach Dharapani, a peaceful village nestled in the Himalayan foothills.

    Dharapani to Koto (2,610m/8,563ft) – 5 to 6 hours

    After breakfast, we begin our trek with a peaceful walk through pine and fir forests to reach the traditional village of Bagarchhap. From here, we continue to Danaque, where the trail starts to climb.

    The ascent to Timang is steep but rewarding, offering spectacular views of the Himalayas. We then walk through dense pine woods to arrive at Latamarang, where we stop for lunch.

    After lunch, the trail leads us deeper into the forest. A brief view of Annapurna II peeks through the trees before we finally reach Koto, a charming village where we spend the night. All meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

    Koto to Meta (3,560m/11,680ft) – 7 to 8 hours

    After completing the restricted area permit registration at the Police Check Post, we begin our trek along the banks of the Soti Khola.

    The trail takes us through serene pine forests, over suspension bridges, and past refreshing mountain streams. We reach Dharmasala after several hours of scenic walking.

    Since there are no teahouses along this route, we carry a packed lunch and continue our journey through remote woodland. The trail climbs steeply until we reach the village of Meta. Situated on a Tibetan plateau, Meta offers stunning views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal.

    Meta to Phu (4,250m/13,944ft) – 7 to 8 hours

    Today’s trek involves several ascents and descents, as well as crossing multiple suspension bridges. After about four hours of walking through remote terrain and barren hills, we reach the ancient settlement of Kyang.

    From Kyang, we continue along the rugged trail that climbs steadily beside the Phu Khola. Along the way, we are treated to breathtaking views of Amotsang Himal, Kangaroo Mountain, and Pokharkan. Eventually, we reach the fascinating Tibetan-influenced village of Phu Gaon, where we stay overnight.

    Rest Day at Phu Gaon

    Today is a well-deserved rest and acclimatization day in the remote and culturally rich village of Phu Gaon. Surrounded by dramatic cliffs and centuries-old stone houses, Phu offers a unique glimpse into traditional Tibetan-influenced mountain life. You can spend the day exploring the village, visiting the ancient Tashi Lhakhang Monastery (one of the oldest in the region), interacting with the locals, or simply resting and enjoying the stunning mountain views including Amotsang Himal, Kangaroo Mountain, and Pokharkan. This rest day helps your body adjust to the high altitude, preparing you for the journey ahead.

    Phu to Nar (4,110m/13,484ft): 6–7 hours

    After an early breakfast in Phu, we begin our scenic trek toward Nar Village. The trail descends through rugged terrain, crossing several suspension bridges and winding alongside remote streams. After about 4 hours, we reach Mahendra Pul, a noteworthy suspension bridge named after and funded by the late King Mahendra. We’ll stop here for lunch, taking in the peaceful surroundings. From Mahendra Pul, the trail climbs steeply uphill, with rows of ancient Buddhist stupas marking the path. The climb is steady but rewarding, and after around 2 hours of uphill trekking, we finally reach Nar Village, a beautiful settlement with strong Tibetan cultural influences and spectacular Himalayan views.

    Nar to Ngawal (3,660m/12,008ft) via Kang La Pass (5,322m/17,460ft): 7–8 hours

    Today is one of the most demanding yet rewarding days of the trek. After an early morning start, we begin our ascent toward Kang La Pass, a high mountain pass that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna range. The trail is rugged and steep, but every step is worth it once we reach the top and are greeted with awe-inspiring vistas of snow-capped peaks stretching across the horizon.

    After soaking in the scenery and taking a well-earned rest at the pass, we begin our descent along a steep trail leading to the picturesque village of Ngawal. The downhill path requires careful footing but rewards us with changing landscapes and peaceful alpine surroundings.

    Ngawal to Manang (3,540m/11,614ft): 4–5 hours

    After a hearty breakfast, we continue our trek towards the scenic Manang Valley. This day offers a more relaxed pace as we make our way through peaceful terrain with incredible views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Pisang Peak, Gangapurna, and Gandharva Chuli. The route takes us through tranquil pine forests while following the Marsyangdi River and passing by quaint monasteries, including the Braga Monastery, known for its serene setting and ancient architecture. As we make our way gradually uphill to Mungli, the trail leads us toward Manang, a bustling village and one of the largest settlements in the district. Here, you’ll find cozy teahouses, cultural charm, and a stunning monastery. From Manang, the majestic Annapurna range offers a magnificent backdrop, making it the perfect spot for photography and relaxation before heading further into the mountains.

    Manang to Kathmandu

    Today marks the final leg of our adventure. After breakfast, we bid farewell to the beautiful landscapes of the Annapurna region and make our way back to Kathmandu. The journey takes us by jeep or bus, offering a scenic route through the mountains as we descend from Manang, enjoying the last glimpses of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be transferred to your hotel for some well-deserved rest after an unforgettable trekking experience.
