Experience the raw thrill of peering directly into the smoking crater of one of Nicaragua's most active volcanoes!
Your premium private adventure begins with a comfortable ride in an air-conditioned vehicle. Once at the trail, we'll embark on a scenic 45-minute hike to the summit of Telica Volcano to stand safely at the edge of the massive crater.
We'll then move to a stunning viewpoint to watch a breathtaking sunset over the volcanic mountain range.
To keep your energy up, we provide ice-cold Gatorades and a delicious sandwich from León's renowned French bakery, Pan y Paz. As darkness falls, you might even catch a glimpse of glowing magma inside the crater!
The adventure concludes with a thrilling night descent under the stars.
Tip: Bring a light jacket as it gets chilly at the summit, and don't forget a flashlight or headlamp for the hike down

El Telica is an active volcano located in Leon, Nicaragua, It's part of the Cordillera de los Maribios. It is 1060 meters high above sea level. It is a volcano of smoking activity. Their skirts are covered by recent lava flows, one of which descends several kilometers in the direction of the town of the same name. Sulfur deposits near the crater may have some commercial value "
