I’m based in Ella, but I travel throughout Sri Lanka and know the island beyond the usual tourist routes. I can help you discover beautiful landscapes, wildlife, culture, tea country, waterfalls, local villages and hidden gems along the way.

    Visit Ella’s famous Nine Arch Bridge, a beautiful historic railway viaduct surrounded by lush green forest and tea-covered hills. Travelers can walk to the viewpoints, take photographs and, when the timing is right, watch a Sri Lankan train cross the bridge.

    Ravana Ella Falls

    Ravana Falls – 30 minutes Stop at the beautiful Ravana Falls, one of the most popular waterfalls near Ella. The waterfall cascades down the rocky mountainside and is surrounded by lush green scenery, making it a great place for photographs and a short break. Ravana Falls is also connected to the famous Ramayana legend. According to local tradition, King Ravana is said to have hidden Princess Sita in the nearby Ravana Cave. The waterfall is approximately 25 metres high and is particularly impressive when water levels are high. Enjoy some time to take photographs, admire the waterfall and experience one of the iconic natural landmarks around Ella.
