Meeting and pickup
Meet just outside the ground floor (street level) of the UNIQLO Shinjuku Nishiguchi shop. Your guide will be holding a sign that says, "TOKYO". Please arrive a few minutes early as the tour will leave on time.

The tour starts in the retro izakaya area Omoide Yokocho, the nostalgic alleyway filled with great places to eat. We stop for a bite to eat here.

It's a short walk to Kabukicho, Japan's biggest red-light entertainment district, where interesting shops and characters will make an impression on you. We explore the area.

3Shinjuku Golden Gai
Next, we enter the Golden Gai district, a delightful eclectic maze of over 250 bars and pubs unlike anywhere in the world. It's a great place to see locals and other travelers while experiencing retro Tokyo vibes. We stop for a drink here.
