Meeting and pickup
Free pick-up and drop-off only for customers located in major areas of downtown Chiang Mai within a 5 km radius of the Tha Pae Gate (Chiang Mai City area), the Old City Wall in Chiang Mai province, and the surrounding areas of the Old City Wall in Chiang Mai province including Chang Klan Road, Thapae Road, Wualai Road in the zones of the Night Bazaar, Ton Lam Yai Market, and Warorot Market (Kad Luang). The driver will contact you the evening before your activity date to confirm the exact pickup time. Please check your email for the update. IMPORTANT NOTICE Kindly be at your meeting point/hotel lobby (please ensure your accommodation is within our free pickup areas) at least 10 minutes before the stated meeting/pick up time. Our tour guides will only wait a maximum of 10 minutes for you before proceeding to the next stop. If you are headed to a meeting point, we would like to stress that heavy traffic in the mornings is expected, and can vary greatly when compared to the travel time stated in navigation apps (e.g. Google Maps, Waze, etc.). Meeting Point: If your hotel is outside the free pickup area, the designated meeting point is at McDonlad's at Thapae Gate in Chiang Mai Old City. Your tour guide will be holding a TripGuru sign waiting for you.

1Wat Umong
While most Chiang Mai travelers will flock by the bus load to Wat U-Mong, you are not most travelers. On this half day sunset tour, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken on a short drive to Wat U-Mong late afternoon when crowds are few and views are prime. Upon arrival, explore the underground tunnels, bask in the beauty of Chiang Mai’s temples and enjoy the forest surroundings. It is said that the trees in this forest have words of wisdom for those who pass by, so as you explore listen for the whispers—in Thai and English—from Mother Nature herself.

2Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
After Wat U-Mong, you’ll head to Doi Suthep Temple and Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (nicknamed ‘Doi Suthep’ after its mountain home) for a spectacular sunset that lights up the golden temple. At this ornate temple, which is reached by a 306-step staircase, you’ll enjoy unrivaled views of Chiang Mai at night. Doi Suthep is a popular Chiang Mai temple to visit, but at dusk you may also have chance to join an uncrowded experience and enjoy a traditional monk ceremony at the Golden Pagoda. After an afternoon spent exploring Chiang Mai’s temples and enjoying sunset over the city, you’ll be swept away back to the comfort of your hotel.
