This cycling tour is ideal for beginners as well as experienced bike riders. Starting from Panauti, a historical town, passing by some of the popular heritages in Panauti, you will then cycle around nearby villages and towns. The tour is a great blend for people who are interested in culture, nature as well and adventure. During the ride, you can also explore the country life in Nepal alongside one of the oldest Hydropower plants in Nepal and the Silk Farm.

Starting at Panauti Bus stop, take the southwest road to Kushadevi. After a short walk you will reach the Community hall of Community Homestay. We will meet you here.
Panauti is one of the oldest towns in Nepal, consisting of many temples built in around the 15th Century. The ride begins all the way from Panauti bike station and it continues towards old Town of Panauti where we will sightsee around the old market of Panauti, Indreshwor temple and Tri-beni ghat.
Your first stop would be at Indreshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva which is said to be one of the oldest and largest wooden temples in Nepal. You can view the exquisite wood and brickwork used for the temple which showcases the Newari style of craftmanship.
After continuing on a cycle for about 45 minutes, you will reach Sunthan. Sunthan is a small village near Panauti with Orange gardens. On reaching Sunthan spend some time to take a short break while enjoying peaceful country life with fresh air.
From Sunthan you will continue the bike adventure to Khopashi. Khophasi is about 25 minutes ride from Sunthan. Enjoy Nepali masala tea while you are there and after a short break continue on to a small Newari town on the outskirts of Panauti. The ride will take you through one of the oldest Hydropower plants and a visit to a Silk farm at Khopasi and learn about the sericulture development. From Khopasi, It will be a one-hour ride to get back to Panauti.
